This class 2 enclosed electronic transformer that is UL and cul listed is the ideal choice for wiring several low voltage fixtures. Class 2 transformers are intrinsically safer than class 1 transformers since each compartment can draw no more than 5 amps. Cover of enclosure is simple to remove. Transformer has three sides with knockouts and clips for line voltage wiring. Secondary wiring techniques for class 2 transformers do not necessitate conduit-sheathed cables or clamps. This transformer has a low minimum load requirement of 1W, allowing LED items to be used. Can be dimmed using a low-voltage electronic dimmer with gentle start, short and overload protection.
